Sonora Medical Systems, a subsidiary of ultrasound developer Misonix of Farmingdale, NY, has introduced an acoustic measurement system (AMS) for measuring and analyzing diagnostic ultrasound equipment, and has sold the first unit.
The AMS suite provides comprehensive integration of testing and measuring diagnostic ultrasound and transducer acoustic output properties, and it allows users to test systems with a probe attached, the firm said.
