Toshiba America Medical Systems unveiled its latest cardiac ultrasound offering, the Xario ultrasound system, at the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) conference in Boston.
The Xario ultrasound system provides cardiologists with the capabilities to print, store, and perform network transfers of patient data, still images, and clips. In addition, the system supports all seven classes of DICOM connectivity, and the patient browser enables cardiologists to review studies and export them to PC-compatible formats, according to Tustin, CA-based Toshiba. The system also includes a CDR, integrated DVD recorder, and DVI interfaces.
