Barco, Zonare ink deal

Image display developer Barco of Kortrijk, Belgium, and ultrasound developer Zonare Medical Systems of Mountain View, CA, have signed an agreement for Barco to develop and manufacture a 13-inch (30-cm) flat-panel display for Zonare's z.one ultrasound platform.

The display is equipped with Barco's proprietary I-Guard technology, which continually adjusts the luminance output of display's diagnostic viewing area, the company said.
