SonoSite taps new executives

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite has placed two medical device industry veterans in the firm’s executive suites, hiring Thomas J. Dugan as senior vice president of marketing and Robert L. Massa as vice president of corporate accounts.

Dugan has 24 years of marketing, sales, business development, and operations experience in the medical device industry, and previously worked for a range of companies including InterVascular, Datascope, U.S. Surgical, C.R. Bard, Puritan-Bennett, and Johnson & Johnson.

Massa has worked in the ultrasound industry for more than 20 years, most recently serving as national sales manager of enterprise and strategic accounts for the ultrasound division of GE Healthcare. Prior to GE he worked at ATL Ultrasound and at Philips Medical Systems following its acquisition of ATL.
