Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite reported that revenue grew by 20% for its 2005 fiscal third quarter (end-September 30).
The Bothell, WA-based vendor said revenue in the third quarter of 2005 grew to $34.8 million, compared with $29.1 million in the third quarter of 2004. The firm also noted that its operating income rose 67% in the third quarter of 2005 over that of the same period in 2004 to $2.1 million.
The company reported net income of $1.4 million in the third quarter of 2005, compared with net income of $1.4 million for the fiscal 2004 third quarter.
For 2005, SonoSite management said it continues to expect revenue growth to be in a range of 27% to 30% over that of 2004, with a gross margin of approximately 70%.
