Terason of Burlington, MA, will unveil its new t3000 ultrasound system, which runs as a Windows application on a standard laptop computer upgraded with the company's Fusion processor.
The t3000 system offers 256 beamforming channels, as well as 12-MHz transducer support and multiple focal zones. Terason will market the unit for general, vascular, and breast imaging, interventional radiology, image-guided intervention, endocrinology, and nephrology. Clinical uses will include abdominal, intraoperative, neonatal and pediatric, musculoskeletal, cardiac, peripheral vessel, laparoscopic, transrectal, and transvaginal applications.
The t3000 is FDA-cleared and will be available in the U.S. and worldwide on December 1.
