Philips unveils HD11 XE ultrasound system at AHA

Philips Medical Systems debuted several new products at the 2005 American Heart Association (AHA) conference in Dallas.

The Philips HD11 XE ultrasound scanner features a flat-panel monitor, improved ergonomics, cardiac capabilities to help streamline workflow, and the ability to work with more than 20 transducers.

Also new is the Philips ST Map, a new addition to the Andover, MA-based company's clinical decision-support tools available on Philips IntelliVue patient monitors.
