Terason launched its new Terason Echo ultrasound system at this week's American Heart Association (AHA) conference in Dallas.
The Burlington, MA-based company's system features 2D image quality and color Doppler sensitivity, as well as a 256-channel Fusion processor and tissue harmonic imaging. Terason Echo runs as a Windows application on a standard laptop computer and can be converted from a portable unit to a cart-based system.
Terason will begin shipping the system in January.
