Portable ultrasound technology developer Terason used today's opening day of RSNA 2005 to debut its t3000 ultrasound system.
The t3000 system is designed with Teratech architecture, which combines the Burlington, MA-based company's front-end Fusion processor with PC-based back-end data processing. The t3000 system also operates as a Windows application on a standard laptop computer and can be converted from a portable unit to a cart-based system.
The t3000 is FDA-cleared and scheduled for availability in the U.S. and worldwide on December 1.
