GE touts ultrasound growth

GE Healthcare said that its global ultrasound business produced sales of $671 million in the first half of 2006, up 15% compared with the first half of 2005.

In 2005, the business produced sales of $1.36 billion, up 15% compared with 2004, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based vendor.
