SonoSite marks 3,000 shipment for MicroMaxx

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA, reports that is has shipped over 3,000 MicroMaxx systems to customers worldwide.

Weighing less than 8 lb, the compact portable system can be battery operable and starts up in seconds. Designed for highly mobile use, the system offers real-time imaging at the point of service and comes with a five-year warranty, according to the company.
