Ultrasound contrast developer Acusphere has hired Dennis Bucceri as its senior vice president of regulatory affairs.
The Watertown, MA, company said the hiring was made as it prepares for the regulatory evaluation stage of its lead product candidate, Imagify, a cardiovascular contrast agent for screening of coronary artery disease.
Bucceri was previously at Genzyme of Cambridge, MA, where he was vice president in charge of regulatory affairs at the company's therapeutics group for six years, according to Acusphere.
