Ultrasound developer Aloka of Wallingford, CT, has released ProSound Alpha 10, which is compatible with ultrasound endoscopes, including a gastrovideoscope manufactured by Olympus Medical Systems.
ProSound Alpha 10's ultrasound transmission driving system, combined with broadband harmonics technology, results in improved imaging capability, supporting detailed observation of the lesions for a higher level of diagnosis. The system also features directional eFlow (D-eFlow), a blood flow display mode offering with the ability to depict fine vessels inside and around a tumor.
