Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite has extended the use of its SonoMB imaging technology to its MicroMaxx curved-array probes.
SonoMB is an imaging algorithm designed to improve contrast resolution and reduce ultrasound artifacts, according to the Bothell, WA-based firm. New MicroMaxx systems incorporating SonoMB began shipping this week, and current MicroMaxx customers can receive the software upgrade at no charge, SonoSite said.
