In a preliminary report, Bothell, WA-based ultrasound developer SonoSite showed increased revenues for its second quarter (end-June 30).
The company said it expects to post revenue growth of 20%, to $47 million, as compared to the same period in 2006. For the first half of this year, the company’s worldwide revenue grew 18%, to $90 million, as compared with $76.4 million in the first half of 2006.
The company's ultrasound business grew by 16%, with its ultrasound hospital business growing 25% as compared to the second quarter 2006. SonoSite’s private-office business decreased 42% as compared to last year, but was up 55% compared to the first quarter of 2007.
The company plans to file complete second-quarter results on July 30.
