(Booth 1819) Cone Instruments of Solon, OH, will showcase a variety of new items in the supplies and accessories arena for ultrasound, radiology, and nuclear medicine at RSNA 2007.
The company will show an ergonomic ultrasound chair that's designed to relieve stress and fatigue of repetitive motion for sonographers and other imaging professionals who may need to maintain a certain posture for an extended period of time. It offers an extended range of seat height, combined with a foot ring to facilitate comfortable positioning at an elevation slightly higher than patients.
Cone will also feature its new Veinlite LED as a pocket transilluminator for vein imaging prior to venous access. Designed to enhance vein visualization in both light and dark skin, it can be used in neonates, infants, and children.
For cleaning and disinfecting intracavity ultrasound probes, Cone will highlight its GUS ductless soaking station, which manages fumes from glutaraldehyde soaking solutions. And for infection control, Cone will show its new line of Eclipse probe covers that are pregelled inside.
Cone will feature supplies and accessories for other imaging modalities as well.
