(Booth 8528) DatCard Systems of Irvine, CA, will use its RSNA appearance to exhibit BabySmart, an educational CD product for use with referred obstetric patients.
BabySmart provides a means for facilities to design the look, feel, and content of CDs and DVDs they distribute to patients with fetal ultrasound images. Distribution of ultrasound images and educational information can be coupled with basic information, such as answers to frequently asked questions about prenatal care, nutrition, labor and delivery, and baby basics, as well as lullabies that can be played on any CD player.
Besides the patient's personal demographics, insurance information, and medical history, a CD could include images, fetal survey and diagnostic results, and basic core content about what to expect during pregnancy and genetic counseling information.
BabySmart is currently available in the U.S. and worldwide.
