(Booth 3339) Italian ultrasound vendor Esaote of Genoa will showcase its MyLab ultrasound scanner line, with a focus on the MyLab 70XVG premium ultrasound scanner, in its booth at this year's RSNA conference in Chicago.
Introduced earlier in 2007 as part of the company's MyLab Gold product family, MyLab 70XVG is capable of running an integrated virtual navigator technology that offers real-time fusion of ultrasound and CT/MR images. The feature is not yet available in the U.S.
MyLab 70XVG was developed to be used in various practice settings, including imaging centers and hospital departments. The system offers a high signal-to-noise ratio with reduced speckle-noise contribution, according to the company. The firm is also highlighting the system's ergonomic design and new-generation transducers to reduce stress and optimize working positions.
Esaote will also bring the MyLab 25 and MyLab 30 portable units to RSNA 2007, as well as other products.
