B-K Medical introduces new surgical ultrasound scanner

Analogic subsidiary B-K Medical has launched the Pro Focus OR ultrasound system.

The Copenhagen-based company's Pro Focus OR ultrasound system is designed to be a permanent part of the operating room, mounted on an OR boom. The scanner's flat-screen monitor and control panel are mounted on flexible arms that can be positioned for enhanced utility.

The system also can accommodate a full range of dedicated surgical transducers, and is compatible with the company's new high-frequency 8814 intraoperative surgical biplane transducers and 8815 interventional transducers.
