Medipattern gets Mexico install, adds distributor

Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Medipattern of Toronto announced it has installed its B-CAD 2.2 breast ultrasound CAD software at a facility in Mexico, and has added a Canadian distributor.

B-CAD 2.2 was installed at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerologica in Mexico City. In addition, Medipattern's authorized reseller in Mexico, Electronica y Medicina (EYMSA), placed a lead order for six B-CAD 2.2 systems, and has installed a number of other units throughout Mexico.

In addition, Medipattern announced an agreement with Osiris Medical to distribute B-CAD in Canada.
