Focused-ultrasound developer InSightec of Haifa, Israel, has closed an internal round of financing, the company reported.
Elbit Imaging of Tel-Aviv, Israel, has invested $7.5 million in the company and said it will invest an additional $7.5 million in the next 12 months.
InSightec plans to use the funds to expand its R&D efforts, for marketing and sales activities, and for general corporate purposes, the company said.
