Siemens readies Acuson S2000 enhancements

Siemens Healthcare will showcase new workflow protocols for its Acuson S2000 ultrasound scanner at this week's American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) meeting in New York City.

Called eSieScan, the protocols automatically guide the operator through the exam process, anticipating and executing exams based on customizable programs, according to the Malvern, PA-based vendor. The protocols are available for vascular, breast, and obstetrical exams, and users can also define their own protocols.
