Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA, has installed two Toshiba Aplio Artida ultrasound systems at the Helena Cardiology Clinic of Helena, MT.
The Aplio Artida systems feature 3D wall motion tracking, which allows sonographers and physicians to identify wall motion defects and the timing of cardiac events.
The technology is designed to improve the detection of wall motion abnormalities in many cardiac disease states and cardiac resynchronization therapy and helps physicians optimize pacemaker settings.
