Ultrasound developer U-Systems of San Jose, CA, has signed an agreement to use software from Medidata of New York City to perform data collection functions as part of a new clinical study.
U-Systems will use the company's Medidata Rave electronic data capture software as part of the somo-InSIGHT clinical study, a six-site, 20,000-patient research study of U-Systems' automated breast ultrasound system (ABUS) technology.
U-Systems said the use of Rave is enabling the company to train staff and get the study running more quickly.
