Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm Medipattern of Toronto has begun shipments to the China Primary Health Care Foundation (CPHCF) as part of a purchase order for 200 B-CAD systems.
The CPHCF is purchasing the equipment for a pilot breast screening program in hospitals throughout rural China. Training on the use of B-CAD and the ultrasound systems for the first 60 hospitals will be conducted on May 23 in Beijing.
