CIVCO launches transverse needle guides

Ultrasound and radiotherapy products provider CIVCO Medical Solutions of Kalona, IA, has released transverse needle guides for the L25 transducer series for MicroMaxx, S Series, and M-Turbo systems from compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA.

The two-part needle guidance system consists of a reusable biopsy bracket and disposable snap-on L25 needle guide. The single-use design of the needle guide, along with a telescopically folded CIV-Flex transducer cover, is designed to reduce the risk of cross-contamination and increase patient throughput.
