Siemens releases X300 for women's imaging

Siemens Healthcare has introduced Acuson X300 PE - Women's Imaging, a dedicated ultrasound system for obstetrics and gynecology applications.

The system includes Siemens' fourSight 3D/4D imaging capabilities and workflow tools such as its syngo Auto OB application for automated biometry measurements of the fetus, according to the Malvern, PA-based vendor.

It also features the company's SieClear spatial compounding application, Dynamic TCE tissue contrast enhancement technology, ErgoDynamic imaging system design, and Hanafy lens and MultiHertz multiple-frequency imaging technologies.

Siemens began shipments of the system July 1.
