Impedance cardiography developer CardioDynamics of San Diego posted a dip in revenue in its second quarter.
The company saw net sales for its fiscal 2009 second quarter (end-May 31) of $5.7 million, a decrease of 9% compared with sales of $6.2 million in 2008.
The firm reported a net loss for the period of $1.5 million, compared with a net loss of $732,000 reported in the same quarter last year.
In June, CardioDynamics announced that it planned to merge with compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA; the deal is expected to close during the third quarter of this year.
