SonoSite inks distribution deal with UMI

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA, has signed an agreement for United Medical Instruments (UMI) of San Jose, CA, to distribute SonoSite's products into certain small office markets.

UMI, a worldwide provider of new and preowned ultrasound systems, also will act as an additional distributor of SonoSite's M-Turbo and MicroMaxx ultrasound systems and as a reseller of SonoSite's used products from its older lines.
