Havel's debuts new ultrasound needles

Needle device firm Havel's has introduced a new line of ultrasound needles that feature microlaser etching near the tip to reflect sounds waves back to the transducer.

The new needles include EchoBlock PTC for ultrasound-guided pain injections and EchoBlock PTC30 for ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks. Two others, AccuTarg Quincke and the AccuTarg Chiba, can be used in radiology and ultrasound-guided injections, according to the Cincinnati-based firm.
