MedPro debuts transducer repair unit

Ultrasound dealer MedPro Imaging has created an ultrasound transducer repair division.

The new unit will utilize proprietary technology to offer computer-based transducer repair services, according to the Waukesha, WI-based vendor. MedPro said it will employ a repair-first business model, rather than exchanging transducers with used or refurbished probes.
