Analogic subsidiary BK Medical has introduced a robotic ultrasound device for prostate imaging.
The company's advanced robotic ultrasound technology (ART) includes BK Medical's Flex Focus 700 ultrasound system, a new high-resolution endocavity transducer, and a work-in-progress robotic stationary transducer arm for securing the endocavity transducer during procedures.
It also includes a dedicated robotic transducer, which consists of a curved linear array that images from 12 MHz to 5 MHz with 2D and color and spectral Doppler, according to BK Medical.
