Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite said it has appointed a new vice president.

Mehran Mehrtash will serve as vice president and general manager of Asia Pacific and the Middle East. For the past 10 years, he has served at ConvaTec, a developer and marketer of medical technologies, according to SonoSite.
