Fuji releases portable ultrasound device

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has entered the portable ultrasound market with the commercial availability of its Fazone CB.

Fazone CB features Zone Sonography for enhanced signal processing and acquisition of ultrasound data with fewer motion artifacts. Other features include one-touch image optimization, on-board USB, Ethernet ports, and a 12-inch monitor.

The company launched the system at this week's AHRA meeting in Grapevine, TX.
