Sony Electronics announced that it is introducing a new thermal printer for the ultrasound market.
The UP-D711MD component printer offers a print speed of approximately five seconds per image, and it is small enough to free up valuable space in the ultrasound suite, Sony said.
The slim design fits into today's more compact imaging spaces and portable ultrasound environments, according to the firm. Half the size of previous models, the printer fits easily into ultrasound carts, while integrating with digital ultrasound systems.
UP-D711MD also offers low power consumption and LED notification of data transmission and print status, Sony said.
