Online medical education provider SonoSim has introduced its SonoSim Personal Solution ultrasound training program.
Designed to provide training for handheld ultrasound technology, SonoSim Personal Solution allows users to convert their own computers into personal ultrasound training systems, according to the vendor. It provides integrated hands-on ultrasound training, online courses, and performance assessment.
Trainees can access patients on-demand and virtually scan real patient cases comprising a myriad of pathologies, SonoSim said. The hardware fits in a lab coat pocket and can be purchased from the SonoSim online store starting at $2,995.
