Sony Electronics' Medical Systems Division released its next generation of medical printers at RSNA 2013 in Chicago.
The three new digital thermal work-in-progress models include features such as built-in image capture, hybrid signal input, high resolution of 325 dots per inch, and high-speed printing of approximately 1.9 seconds. They are ideal for ultrasound, portable C-arms, and cardiac cath labs, according to the company.
Sony plans to make the UP-D898MD, UP-X898MD, and UP-991AD printers available in spring 2014.
