Image enhancement developer ContextVision is celebrating 30 years in business and 150,000 system installations worldwide.
The firm's products include four real-time ultrasound image enhancement software packages -- for women's health, general imaging, cardiovascular, and point of care -- that are part of the US PlusView family. The packages offer speckle reduction, edge enhancement, line connectivity, and higher grayscale contrast, according to ContextVision.
The company has also completed installations of its GOPView Mammo2 software worldwide. GOPView Mammo2 is designed to discern pathology and reduce the need for multiple views or follow-up imaging in women with dense breasts, the company said.
