Toshiba inks contract for 14 Aplio 500 scanners

Toshiba America Medical Systems has won a contract to supply more than a dozen ultrasound scanners to a New York hospital.

The deal calls for Toshiba to provide Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Binghamton, NY, with 14 Aplio 500 units to replace the hospital's current ultrasound fleet.

Aplio 500 includes enhanced workflow tools and ergonomic features, including the iStyle+ productivity suite, Toshiba said.
