Fuji SonoSite creates CVC safety program

Ultrasound developer Fujifilm SonoSite has created a new patient-safety program designed to help hospitals reduce complications during central venous catheter (CVC) insertion.

The program features a guidebook and resource center to provide healthcare professionals with practice guidelines, procedure protocols, metrics for benchmark success, educational videos, and other resources.

In addition, advisors support the program and are available to help clinicians and administrators at participating institutions navigate through the information, the company said.
