Medical imaging firm Analogic has inked an agreement to distribute D&K Technologies' BioJet system.
BioJet is a 3D MRI transrectal ultrasound fusion technology. The system overlays ultrasound images from Analogic's BK Flex Focus system with MRI-identified lesions to provide real-time guidance during prostate biopsies. The combination supports both transperineal and transrectal biopsy methods, according to Analogic.
Analogic plans to distribute BioJet with BK Flex Focus in the U.S., Canada, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, U.K., Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, the company said.
