Toshiba America Medical Systems has named Maria Piazza as director of its ultrasound business unit.
Piazza will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for the business unit. She will also work with Toshiba Medical Systems' global business unit to communicate the needs of the U.S. market, Toshiba said.
Prior to joining Toshiba, Piazza served in several roles for GE Healthcare, including chief marketing officer, global advertising and promotions director, global marketing operations director, and MR global product marketing manager.
