Ultrasound acoustic measurement and testing firm Acertara Acoustic Laboratories has debuted an analyzer for detecting electrical leakage from ultrasound transducers, as well as an electrical leakage analyzer adapter.
AmpSafe is an electrical leakage analyzer that incorporates a USB interface for generating complete test reports on a PC, according to the firm. The test report includes detailed probe information, measurement values, tester identification, and the testing date in order to comply with the upcoming Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) guidelines, Acertara said. It will also be equipped with a compact electrode to work with automated transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) disinfection systems.
Acertara's second new product, Accept, is a probe adapter that can be used with AmpSafe and other electrical leakage analyzers to interface with multiple types of transducer connectors, according to the company. Users can employ Accept to avoid having to connect and disconnect multiple adapters during testing, Acertara said.
