Therapeutic ultrasound vendor Misonix has released a newly developed SonicOne ultrasound wound debridement procedure.
A new single-use disposable debridement probe with increased ultrasonic amplitude allows surgeons using the SonicOne device to reduce the operating room time necessary to complete a procedure by up to 50%, Misonix said.
The new procedure will be sold and distributed through Misonix's sales team and the company's distributor network in the U.S., according to the firm.
