Handheld ultrasound developer Signostics has signed ultrasound industry veteran Niko Pagoulatos, PhD, as executive vice president and chief innovation officer.
Pagoulatos comes to Signostics with nearly 20 years of experience in the ultrasound industry, according to the vendor. He most recently held senior technology leadership positions at Fujifilm SonoSite, where he worked alongside current Signostics CEO Kevin Goodwin. Prior to that, Pagoulatos served as a senior scientist in Siemens Healthcare's ultrasound division and was a senior research scientist at start-up company Forth Photonics, Signostics said.
