Konica Minolta to highlight US at rheumatology meeting

Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas plans to present a rheumatology reporting package for ultrasound at the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) meeting in San Diego.

The company's rheumatology reporting package for its Sonimage HS1 compact ultrasound system helps users track patients' disease activity scores and organize ultrasound studies, including storing still images with real-time clips, Konica Minolta said.

Sonimage HS1 features Konica Minolta's needle visualization software, which enhances needle clarity during ultrasound-guided pain management procedures. It also includes advanced musculoskeletal functionality, which can help detect abnormalities and assess joint inflammation, according to the firm.
