Ultrasound developer Fujifilm SonoSite is showcasing its latest systems, the SonoSite SII and SonoSite X-Porte, at RSNA 2017 in Chicago.
The SonoSite SII is portable and can be used across multiple hospital environments, with a zero-footprint option. It is equipped with the patent-pending DirectClear transducer.
The X-Porte incorporates beam-forming technology: XDI (extreme definition imaging), created to reduce clutter and enhance image contrast. It's also easy to maneuver alongside beds and exam tables, the firm said. It has a touchscreen and real-time scan-along learning.
The company is also featuring its Edge II portable ultrasound system with DirectClear and armored cable technology at RSNA 2017.
