Ikonopedia set to debut new breast US reporting module

Breast imaging software developer Ikonopedia is unveiling its next-generation breast ultrasound reporting module at this week's 2018 Society of Breast Imaging/American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Symposium in Las Vegas.

The new BI-RADS compliant interface is designed to streamline reporting for both screening and diagnostic exams acquired using automated breast ultrasound or handheld ultrasound, according to the company. Based on the teaching files of co-founder Dr. Thomas Stavros, the new module uses a specially designed lesion locator tool to guide breast imagers through the interpretive process for breast ultrasound, Ikonopedia said.
