Image enhancement software developer ContextVision will launch Rivent, a new ultrasound enhancement software technology, at the upcoming RSNA 2019 meeting in Chicago.
Rivent is designed to improve the quality of ultrasound scans, delivering well-defined borders and reducing noise around smooth tissue without eliminating relevant information. The software offers high image quality in the near field and far field of ultrasound scans, as well as automatic, real-time adaption to line density, ContextVision said.
The company also plans to show its Altumira artificial intelligence software for radiography at RSNA 2019. Commercially released earlier this year, Altumira uses deep-learning algorithms to enhance the image quality of static and dynamic x-ray images.
