Handheld ultrasound technology developer Vave Health has named ultrasound industry veteran David Garner as chief commercial officer.
Garner comes to Vave with more than 22 years of experience and most recently served as vice president at point-of-care ultrasound company Butterfly Network. In his new role, Garner will oversee commercial strategy, including investment and operations, according to Vave. He will focus specifically on marketing, sales, customer success, and business development, the firm said.
In other Vave news, the company has also appointed longtime imaging industry executive Terri Bresenham to its board of advisors. Bresenham, founder of TruNorth Health Advisors, previously served as chief innovation officer at GE Healthcare and also led its ultrasound and molecular imaging businesses.
